Thomas' bees

When Thomas isn't in the cellar, he takes care of his hives as soon as he can.

Winter is the resting period for swarms; the bees form dense clusters to combat the cold.
By listening carefully, he can check that the bees are doing well, even if their activity is slow during this season.

You'll see a mesh in front of the hives : a protection from the asian hornet. The mesh is too small to let them through, but the bees can squeeze through and get into the hive.

Labadens (n,m)

Comrade, companion or classmate. This name appeared for the first time in a play written by Eugène Labiche, l'affaire de la rue de Lourcine in 1857.
We are two labadens oenologists, wishing to produce wines of quality resulting from a tailor-made, small batch wine making. We pay particular attention to local grape varieties that are sometimes neglected and to organic farming.
