Our commitments

Organic viticulture

Since the start of our adventure, we have chosen to work with organic farming. As a result, all our wines are organic certified or in conversion.

In practical terms, this means that only contact products (copper, sulphur, propolis, talcum powder, essential citrus oils, etc.) are used to fight diseases and parasites.

This also means that no chemical weedkillers are used under or between the rows of vines.

Why this choice ? to encourage chemical-free cultivation and continue to stroll through the vineyards and breathe deeply.

Reusable bottles

We are convinced that reuse is one of the solutions of the future for bottling our wines and minimising their carbon footprint. That's why we were there when the Ventoux wine trade initiated the project. Today, we support the implementation of a collection system in our production region.
A nod to César who, perhaps in a corner of his "café de la marine" Café de la Marine, in Marseille, collected empty bottles in Marcel Pagnol's time.

Recently, you can see this new logo on our labels “Rapportez moi pour réemploi (Take me back for reuse)” which indicates that the bottle is reusable.

To find the nearest collection point, France Consigne provides information on collection points nationwide. If you live in the South East part of France, you can use the interactive map of Ma bouteille s’appelle Reviens.

Labadens

range of organic wines from the Rhône valley

Labadens (n,m)

Comrade, companion or classmate. This name appeared for the first time in a play written by Eugène Labiche, l'affaire de la rue de Lourcine in 1857.
We are two labadens oenologists, wishing to produce wines of quality resulting from a tailor-made, small batch wine making. We pay particular attention to local grape varieties that are sometimes neglected and to organic farming.
